Abstract :
The quantum AM and FM noise spectra for N-element coupled-cavity semiconductor lasers are presented using semiclassical theory which can be used for both passive and active coupled-cavity configurations. The theoretical explanations are shown to be in good agreement with the experimental results. Presented results are general, since the influence of the carrier fluctuation in the active regions is considered
