Abstract :
One of the fundamental problems with residue arithmetic is the difficulty associated with residue-to-decimal conversion. In this paper, several new efficient conversion algorithms are presented. They span a practical fixed-point dynamic range.running from 12 to 36 bits with execution speed measured in nanoseconds. The mathematical foundations of the developed methods are discussed in detail and realizable architectures presented.
