  • Abstract
Results are presented of a project to confirm predictions of magnetic fields remote from a transmission to distribution substation. The measurement data span the period from June 1984 to July 1988. Measurements of magnetic field profiles around a specific substation were made prior to construction (1984), after the substation was in service and loaded to 80% capacity (1987), and one year later (1988). The results show the correlation between theoretical predictions and measurements and the magnetic field levels attributable to the substation
