  • Abstract
    The first demonstration of a connection-oriented optical burst data switching network constructed with PLC and MEMS switches employing GMPLS control is reported. Optical burst data switching in a six-node photonic network using the general switch management protocol (GSMP) is successfully, demonstrated.
