Abstract :
A classic filter problem is the construction of bandpass transfer functions which simultaneously possess linear phase in the passband and steep amplitude selectivity. This paper details a new technique that results in a minimum phase bandpass Filter with amplitude selectivity comparable to that of a Butterworth while maintaining phase linearity in the passband. Furthermore, these filters have been constructed as a real LC structure, verIfying the performance predicted by the computer simulations.
