Abstract :
The recent paper by Guney and Sarikaya claims to present a new soft computing method for evaluating the resonant frequencies of rectangular, circular, and triangular equilateral microstrip antennas. As stated by the authors, the method is based on a combination of artificial neural network and fuzzy inference system. Afterwards, the authors developed a hybrid model able simultaneously to predict resonant frequencies for the three printed antenna geometric configurations considered.
