Abstract :
A novel coherent detector for DQPSK on fading channels is presented. The phase reference for a traditional decision device is obtained at the output of an FIR prediction filter, which is designed in the mean square error sense. The proposed detector shows significantly better performance in fading as compared to a traditional differential detector
