Abstract :
A method for designing wave digital filters using the concept of generalized-immittance convertor has been reported recently by Antoniou and Rezk. In this paper is derived a stability criterion for this new type of filter. It is shown that the requirement for ensuring the absence of limit cycles in these filters is the same as the one proposed by Fettweis and Meerkcötter for the conventional wave digital filters.
