Abstract :
The coupling between a microstrip transmission line and a dielectric resonator with a relative dielectric constant of 80 has been measured as a function of the distance between the resonator and the microstrip. Precision measurement involves the TRL de-embedding procedure, and data fitting to a fractional linear transformation on a complex plane.
