Abstract
In the last few years, the researches in wireless mobile communication systems have focused on to provide optimization and efficient use of radio resources in frequency, space and time. The use of multiple antenna in both links is a well known way to improve system robustness and capacity. More recently, hybrid schemes were proposed to achieve both gains in an unique transceiver. In this paper, we evaluate hybrid diversity/spatial multiplexing schemes with a modified non-linear interference cancellation algorithm with precoding at the receiver. Our results show that performance is improved considering bit error rate, while offering greater efficiency in bits per channel use (pcu) when compared with conventional interference cancellation algorithm using the same number of transmit antennas.
