Abstract :
Eigenvalue- S matrix element relations for some common multiport devices with two-fold symmetry have recently been derived using a technique based on group theory. In this contribution this same technique is applied to derive linear eigenvalue- S matrix element relations for the five regular polyhedra. Using these relations the coupling properties of matched networks with such symmetry are discussed.
