Abstract
The subject of neutralization and unilateralization is of great interest in the field of transistor design because of the inherent bilateral property of transistors. This paper presents a systematic study of unilateralization in terms of generalized network theory presented in matrix form. Results are listed in tabulated form for easy use in practical circuit design Examples illustrating the adaptation of the general procedure to the design of transistor amplifiers and vacuum-tube amplifiers are also included.
