  • Abstract
    Literature falls much short in presenting simplified dynamic models for non-cubic Stewart Platforms to aid in its initial design. This paper uses geometric parameters of the non-cubic Stewart Platforms to determine its dynamic equations for base excitations for individual controllers. These subsystems are then decoupled to give individual modal equations, to give the advantage of controlling each mode independently. Considerable vibration isolation was observed when compared with passive vibration control.
