Abstract
It is shown that multiamplifier-active 
biquads of significantly better performance than that of known filters can be obtained by using composite amplifiers whose frequency dependence is tailored to the specific filter requirements rather than being designed for the usual criteria, such as maximum bandwidth or minimum phase shift.
