Abstract
A technique for the prediction of soil resistivity and ground rod resistance for deep ground electrodes has been developed. The method extrapolates limited test ground rod data to a factor of up to ten times the known depth values. The technique has been shown to accurately predict the effectiveness of installing deep ground electrodes and the predicted results are compared to actual field test results.
