Abstract :
TVA´s latest nuclear power plant control room design includes a greater emphasis on human factors as compared to our earlier plant designs. This emphasis has resulted in changes in the overall design philosophy and design process. This paper discusses some of the prominent design features of both the control room and the surrounding control room complex. In addition, it also presents some of the important activities involved in the process of developing the advanced control room design.
