Abstract :
An improved method of minimizing the number of multiplications required to evaluate the gain expression for an acyclic signal flow graph (SFG) is presented. For a class of signal flow graphs, called separable SFG´s a decomposition method for simplifying computation is proposed. Two examples are given.
