Abstract
The clock jitter effect in continuous-time data converters is studied. Using the state-space approach, closed-form formulas predicting precisely the spectra of jitter-induced noise are derived. The results are quite general and applicable to all types of analog-to-digital or digital-to-analog ΣΔ converters.
