Abstract
Some novel circuit techniques for realizing linear CMOS tranconductance elements are proposed. The circuits discussed have superior linearity and input voltage range compared with the conventional source-coupled differential pair. Design tradeoffs are examined and computer simulation results are used to verify theoretical predictions. The results show close agreement between predicted behavior and simulated performance.
