Abstract :
New theorems are presented showing how the location and value of independent sources can be used in assessing the existence of a solution for the dc equations of a very general class of nonlinear networks. The application of the theory to bipolar transistor circuits is specifically considered, and an example is given using a simple differential amplifier circuit.
