Abstract :
A zero-voltage transition two-input DC-DC converter drawing power from two different dc sources and feeding a common dc-bus is proposed in this paper. Steady-state analysis is performed and then modes of operation for creating the zero voltage transition for the active switches is established. To demonstrate the soft-switching performance a 12/36 V, to 24 V dc bus with 100 Watt power rating for the prototype is made and experimental observations are taken. Simulation and measurement results are in close agreement with each other.
