  • Abstract
    Bow-tie antennas with folded elements are investigated. Simulations and measurements show that the lowest operation frequency (VSWR les 2) is lowered by the addition of the folded elements. This means that antenna area can be reduced by 49% (with one folded element) and 71% (with two folded elements), if the lowest operation frequency is not changed.
