Abstract :
This paper considers the design of low-pass, bandpass, and high-pass networks which match a generator impedance to a ladder load consisting of any number of reactive elements and one resistor. For loads consisting of only two reactive elements consistent with the given passband, a low-pass, high-pass, or bandpass match is shown to be possible in every case without resort to coupled coils. Consideration is given to control of the generator impedance. A method for matching two complex impedances is described.
