  • Abstract
Nanogranular composite films composed of iron and MnF2 were investigated by magnetization measurements and Mossbauer spectroscopy. Magnetic properties below the Neel temperature TN=67 K of MnF2 are explained by introducing unidirectional anisotropy resulting from the exchange couplings at the interface. Enhancement of higher order anisotropy was also indicated.
