Abstract :
Electrochemical rectifier systems generally consist of two or more six-pulse units in parallel. System arrangements, regulation methods, and the number of paralleled units depend on process requirements, harmonic considerations, and economics. Fault protection of rectifier equipment must take into account contribution from the paralleled units and energy stored in the cell line.
