Abstract :
A simple and effective method for the deembedding of the connector response is introduced. The method, suitable for a large class of problems, allows the calculation of the exact response of the connector by means of a linear equation from the measurement of the impedance matrix of an array and its simulated value. It is possible to use the connector response obtained in a simple case to analyze and synthesize even complex arrays with a very good agreement between simulation and measurement results.
