  • Abstract
    In this correspondence, we extend the range of application of a recently proposed technique [1] for the solution of the open problem regarding the BIBO Stability of 2-D digital filters in the presence of nonessential singularities of the second kind. This extension is accomplished through the use of a certain z -domain transformation. An illustrative example is also given.
