Abstract
A complete design of a microprocessor-based control circuit for a three-phase controlled rectifier bridge is presented. The Motorola M6802 microprocessor is used, and a flowchart and program listing are provided. Practical problems such as synchronization with noisy references are discussed, and modifications to the basic program are indicated. The basic control´ philosophy developed can be extended to. the entire class of phase controlled systems, e.g., cyclo- converters, ac-voltge controllers, etc.
