Abstract
A recently proposed method for reconstructing signals sampled at less than the Nyquist rate is examined. It is claimed that the signal can be reconstructed using this scheme with arbitrarily small error. Analysis with noisy samples reveals this claim is inconsistent with the physical determinancy criterion for a well-posed problem.
