Abstract :
The paper describes software that enables a remote control of Rohde & Schwarz´s portable receiver PR100. The application is developed in the MATLAB environment and is equipped with a Graphical User Interface (GUI). All communication and data transfer are realized via Ethernet. The software provides a comfortable remote control of the most used functions of the instrument. Moreover, multiple options of data export are available as well as a separate GUI for further processing of the recorded data. The developed software together with its user friendly GUI layouts allows the user to remotely control the PR100 from a PC without the need for manually operating the instrument.
