  • Abstract
    This paper discusses the possibilities of using augmented reality (AR) in geodesy vocational education through a geolocation-based AR application AuGeo. Augmented reality has been rapidly evolving ever since smart mobile phones became equipped with hardware and software which support AR application development. In educational AR current findings suggest that the best approach to application development is iterative co-design with teachers. That approach is incorporated into design of AuGeo by conducting a teacher focus group interview which is discussed and analyzed in the paper.
