Abstract
This paper describer methods permitting the determination of the magnetic dipole moments of volume microdefects in thin films with a perpendicular anisotropy. The methods are based on the study of solitary defect interactions with a stripe domain, a flat wall in a gradient magnetic field, and with a bubble. Mathematical models of these interactions are developed and realized with computer. Magnetic moment magnitudes are determined for the attractive and repulsive defects in the garnet films. Results obtained by means of various methods agree within 30%
