  • Abstract
    An accommodation model has been recently presented which interprets Preisach-type models from a statistical point of view. In this paper an identification strategy for determining the accommodation parameter, β, is presented. This method is applicable for more general Preisach distributions where the standard deviation in the interaction field is not equal to the standard deviation in the critical field. Experimental verification of the properties of the accommodation model using a commercial flexible disk recording media is presented
