Abstract
We have formulated the operation of an isolated ferrite patch antenna of circular geometry. The cavity model has been applied to the ferrite region below the patch disc in the prediction of radiation frequencies. The theory compares very well with measurements. A ferrite patch antenna array has been fabricated which clearly shows the steering property of the biasing magnetic field
