Abstract
This letter proposes a method to use the voltage-source inverters with distributed generation to control the voltage in a distribution network. A droop line is used to prevent hunting between controllers. Analytical expressions are derived for the voltage along a feeder with uniformly distributed load/generation. The proposed algorithm will alleviate the voltage-control problem reported when installing distributed generation.
