Abstract
To appeal to the interests and intellectual requirements of the reader, the text of technical articles must be properly selected, arranged in logical order, and well proportioned, with essential concepts presented in proper relation to one another. To assist in meeting these requirements, a topical outline is given as a basis for the development of research or engineering articles. Recommendations are qiven for the typing, mailing, and proofreading of the manuscript. Suggestions are included for the preparation of diagrams and photographs so that they may be most suitable for publication.
