Abstract :
Through metallurgical process research, the way to strongly raise the working induction is to obtain the preferential (100)[001] orientation. As Al content improves the development of cube texture 3%Al Fe was submitted to hot working procedures, driven with low speed and low finishing temperature, in one or three steps and a double stage process. This work relates to the texture evolution as well as the influence of hot working parameters on final properties. Samples with the strongest heterogeneous hot deformation exhibits the most important cube texture component after an optimized first cold rolling. This is consistent with magnetic measurements
