Abstract
There are a variety of hospitals in the society, the patient is always confused to select a proper one. Meanwhile, a patient´s decision may not be decided by the absolute level of hospitals´ attribute performance, while based on the degree of hospitals´ performance matching his/her expectation. To deal with the hospital choice problem, a method considering patients´ expectations is proposed to pick out an appropriate hospital. Firstly, the indicative evaluation system for hospital is advanced in the problem description. The evaluation information given by decision makers is aggregated, and it is expressed by the hesitant fuzzy linguistic term sets (HFLTSs). Then, according to the matching degree between the real evaluation information and the patient´s expectation, the most suitable and closest to patient´s expectation hospital can be chosen. Finally, the analysis of an example is given to indicate the operability and practicability of the proposed approach.
