Title :
Absolute calorimetric determination of dielectric loss factors at w = 104 s-1 and 4.2 k and application to the measurement of loss factors of standard capacitors at room temperature
Abstract :
By means of two different calorimetric methods the dielectric loss factors of a quartz and a mica capacitor were determined at 4.2 K. At w = 104s-1 the results are: tan δquartz, 4.2 K = (7.99 /spl I.chemo/ 0.05) à 10-5 and tan δmica, 4.2 K = (2.23 /spl I.chemo/ 0.02) X 10-6. Using these loss factor standards the loss factors of standard air capacitors at 23°C were determined.
