Abstract
Realization of a two-element-kind network in the form of a cascade connection of subnetworks, each of which places in evidence one or more sets of transmission zeros, is discussed. A new technique for achieving this realization based on the use of an intermediate three-element-kind network is presented. The use of zero shifting in order to arrive at subnetworks which are realizable in unbalanced form without mutual coupling is outlined.
