Abstract :
Design formulas for several types of open-wire transmission lines, both balanced and unbalanced, are developed and listed in a simplified form suitable for most engineering applications. The method of logarithmic potentials is used. Its utility in connection with certain aspects of low-frequency antenna design is briefly outlined.
