Abstract :
A γp,low experiment based on a novel method of determining the coil constant has yielded preliminary results. The coil constant is found by measuring the flux profile along the axis of the windings. When the NMR experiment is performed in the free precession mode, the value of γp amounts to γp = 2.675 143 ?? 108 (/spl I.chemo/ 3.4 ?? 10-6) T-1PTB ?? s-1 with a (1 σ) uncertainty.
