  • Abstract
    The specific characteristics of the numerical simulation of 3-D magnetostatic problems taking into account the geometric complexity of magnet systems and the nonlinear character of the equations describing the magnetic field are considered on the basis of the KOMPOT program package. The results of calculations of tokamak and synchrotron magnetic systems different in iron saturation and requirements on the field precision are given. The attained accuracy has been confirmed by comparing result of the numerical simulation with data obtained by magnetic measurements and by other methods
