Abstract
Some design limitations for a fast Blumlein-line discharge based on the propagation of traveling waves in a matched transmission line are described ensuring optimum construction of N2 lasers operating at atmospheric pressure. The dependence of peak power and rise time on cavity length and initial pumping levels has been demonstrated to be nonlinear.
