Abstract :
A simple low-frequency logarithmic converter is described which a train of pulses is logarithmically modulated in width by the input signal. The logarithmically converted signal is recovered at the output by simply integrating the width-modulated pulses. The converter has been constructed and tested. The details of implementation and test results are presented.
