Title :
Impact of polyethylene curing methods on wire and cable performance
Author :
Fischer, Theodore M.
Abstract :
The shortcomings of polyethylene as an insulating material for wire and cable can be overcome by cross-linking it through a curing process. The advantages and disadvantages of two different curing processes are examined, namely irradiation curing and peroxide plus heat curing. The wire and cable products resulting from each method are compared.<>
