Abstract
In this paper, a new method for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signal acquisition in weak signal condition is considered, mainly on bit transition and accumulation over multiple code periods. The impact of bit transition on the acquisition block is analyzed and an algorithm based on the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) operation is proposed to solve the bit transition problem, after which the accumulation scheme is presented based on the proposed algorithm. The simulation results and receiver operative characteristic (ROC) curves are given to verify the bit transition and accumulation methods.
