Abstract :
Indoor visible light communication using MIMO-OFDM transmission is basically expected to be deployed along with the coming next generation solid-state lighting based on white light-emitting diodes. This paper first shows our recent proposed indoor MIMO-VLC system for multiuser application scenario. By utilizing a precoding scheme in the transmitter, an asymmetric system configuration can be setup to eliminate MUI with much less signal processing in the user terminals. To further show the reduction of ISI in OFDM transmission, a time domain reshuffling method is also presented here for DCO- and ACO-OFDM transmission. Both methods are feasible in practical VLC applications.
