Abstract :
The permittivities of bovine muscle, artery, kidney, and liver are measured at 37°C in vitro at 2.0, 3.0, and 4.0 GHz, using a coaxial-line reflection technique and an automatic network analyzer. Uncertainties, evaluated by measurements on organic alcohols whose permittivities are well known, are consistently less than ±10 percent in both ¿¿and ¿¿. The data compare well with those published for similar animal tissues.
