Abstract
The use of a guard interval in OFDM is analysed for a two path channel with white Gaussian noise. A system with zero forcing equaliser and no guard interval is used as a reference when assessing the performance. The results show that a system without a guard interval has a significantly lower bit error rate and requires less bandwidth
